Serves 4 Cooking Time 20 Minutes Equipment Bowl, Wooden Spoon, Whisk, Jug, Pancake Pan, Large Spoon, Spatula, Oven Tray, Small Saucepan, 4 plates Gather all of your equipment. Ingredients 1 Cup Plain Flour 2 tsp Baking Powder 1 tsp Caster Sugar Pinch Salt 1 ¼ Cups Milk 2 Eggs 1 tsp Vanilla Essence 1 200g Jar Hazelnut Chocolate Spread ½ Cup Double Cream Vegetable Oil Mixed Berries of your choosing (if not in season use frozen berries thaw before use) Method • In a bowl mix together the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. • Whisk together the milk, eggs & vanilla essence. • Mix wet ingredients into the dry ingredients to a thick smooth batter then leave for 15 minutes to rest. • Heat a tsp of vegetable oil in the pan add large dollops of batter to the pan to make circles. Cook until they bubble on top, then turn over and cook for another 1-2 minutes. • Remove from pan and keep warm in the oven while you make the rest. • Heat the hazelnut chocolate spread with the cream in a small pan to make the chocolate sauce. • Place 4 pancakes on each plate, pour over the chocolate sauce and top with the berries.
